More than 2 lakh primary teachers in all government primary schools will be on strike. Apart from this, 10 thousand primary teachers will surround the assembly. The teachers are resentful that other activities other than government education make them compulsory to the primary teachers but the government is not given the benefit of promotion and seniority and higher pay scale.
Apart from this, the primary teachers demand that all the teachers who have been recruited till date have been given benefits of seniority, promotion and higher pay scale. Primary teachers are exempted from triple-c examinations. Primary teachers complain that the Vidyasayakas work in less than five years of low salaries. Five years of employment are not considered in seniority, promotion or higher pay scale.
Approximately 2 lakh primary teachers of government primary schools, under all district panchayat education committees, will go tomorrow to Mass CL. While more than 10,000 teachers in Gandhinagar will participate in the assembly from Chanakya Bhavan to Vidhan Sabha, they will surround the government. The primary teacher association is demanding that the government release students from all other work except students, primary teachers are required to compulsorily work in all government schemes, government programs, from the election.
